Hamish came from our dear friends Samantha and Andrew of Farlap Bloodhounds in the UK. Over the years, Sam has imported three Boru dogs to the UK.

Hamish’s mother is Abi from our Art Styles litter, sister to Onslow & Frida. The sire is a beautiful sweet, red male named Quinton Truffe Medievale, bred by the late Marianne Faucq in Belgium. Quinton’s father Kazan Truffe Medievale was the most stunning red Bloodhound I had ever seen. Both of Hamish's parents passed all of their health clearances and are lovely dogs, excellent representations of the Bloodhound breed in both temperament and structure. 

To our surprise Abi only had two puppies; a male and a female, both red. I fell in love with Hamish early on as his qualities and pedigree are definitely traits we hope to add to our program. He comes from very old Du Noble Limier lines, the same lines behind one of our foundation dogs, Jereth.

We were lucky enough to bring Hamish to Canada and look forward to watching him mature.
