Is it important to you that the parents of your potential puppy have undergone the recommended health testing ; ofa cardiac hips and elbows . As well as eye cerf and DM testing ?

DO you understand that my responsibility as the breeder of a puppy continues throughout the life of a puppy. If something should happen and you can no longer care for the puppy it must be returned to me unless I approve of the new home? The dog must also be returned to me at the owners expense . You will sign a contract and there are legal implications if the contract is not followed
Are you mentally and finacially preparred for a new puppy? High quality food can cost 200.00 or more per month? When puppies are growing they consume triple the amount a full sized adult will. there is vet care to consider as well as the possibility of emergency vet care
Bloodhounds like most deep cheated breeds are sicceptable to Bloat and Gastric torsion . It is a recommendation by most breeders including myself that bloodhounds undergo a preventative Gastropexy when they are neutered or spayed at 2 years old . Is this something you are willing to do ? Is this financially feasible for you ? It is not uncommon for bloodhounds to eat foreign objects ; socks , rocks , toys , mulch , surgeries for blockages and foreign objects can run at 2000-8000 are you prepared ?
What are your thoughts/ethics about dogs in general. if a dog requires expensive surgery would you rather euthanize the dog?
are you willing to sign and adhere to a contract pertaining to the sale of the puppy . that inclues but is not limited to -breeding restrictions - dog must come back to breeder in the even that you ca no longer keep the dog - breeder must be kept up to date on any health or behaviour issues -
